Olaf Rüger has been working for the past 8 years in the field of overbraiding as a researcher and project manager at the Universities of Stuttgart and Munich. Between 2009 and 2012 he was working at the Institute for Carbon Composites as Peforming Team Leader of the newly founded Institute. Olaf Rüger has a Master’s degree in Aeronautic and Aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
Managing Director
Felix Fröhlich was working at the Institute for Carbon Composites between 2009 and 2012 doing research on inflatable core concepts for carbon composites. He focused on the braiding technology already in 2008 during his Master’s Thesis developing a braided bicycle frame concept. Felix has a Master’s degree in Aeronautic and Aerospace engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
Shareholder and Mentor
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Drechsler has been working for the past 25 years in the field of carbon composites. He is the Professor from the Institute for Carbon Composites at the Technical University of Munich since 2009 with a staff of about 50 researchers. Prof. Drechsler has had several leading industry positions at MBB/ Daimerl-Crysler/ EADS and was leading the Institute for Lightweight Construction in Stuttgart from 2002-2009.
